「古見さんは、コミュ症です」 is a manga I have been reading for almost two years now, and an anime adaptation was just announced with a broadcast date set for October this year. The series is about a shy girl named Komi, whose dream it is to make one hundred friends, and her first friend Tadano, who wants to help her make ninety-nine more. I think I understood most of the video (granted, it is very short) except for the first line. Tadano, the narrator, at one point uses the direct evidence よう (まだだれも気づいてないようだが、僕は知っている). Of course the last blog post I write here is late (忘れてしまった！), but I will miss writing them dearly. みんなさん、この二年間、私に日本語を勉強させて下さって、どうもありがとうございました！さようなら。 ニコラス・マンガン

 My friends and I have been playing a video game from Japan called Dark Souls 3 a lot recently, and I had the idea to look for Japanese language content about the game because it seems the game audio itself is in English. The basic plot of this video is the player doing a run-through of the game using only the Greatsword (グレートソード) weapon (which, despite its name, is actually in the Ultra Greatsword class).  Although I was disappointed to learn that the game dialogue is all in English with Japanese subtitles, it was still exciting to listen to the player's commentary in Japanese. Doing so, I learned some new vocabulary, e.g. 回転 and 強者, but I wonder what the difference is between 強者 and 強い人. Also, I chuckled when the player simply runs past a group of enemies around the 48:10 mark (三人の強者) while saying 「戦う理由がない」.
