クールジャパン

もんだいがたくさんあるから、ズームのじゅぎょうは大へんだとおもいます。毎日、先生のコンピュータに何かあって、私のもなくなります。キャンパスにいる方がズームよりとてもいいですね。それじゃあ… 今ミシシッピ州のジャクソンにすんでいて、わるくないまちだとおもいます。コロナウイルスがあるけど、ない時にこえんであそぶのがたのしくて、いつもいい天気で、世界の一番きれいなところですよ。

アニメンタリー 決断 is an animated documentary from the 1970s about the Pacific theater of World War II from the Japanese perspective. The episode I found on YouTube is the first half of a two part arc about the Battle of Midway, which turned the tides in the United States' favor in July 1942. I could find only Japanese language material about the show, so I know little else about it. This is my first 聞くしゅくだい for which I have not had any subtitles at all; for all the rest I would watch with subtitles first and then again without them. As such, with much of the grammar and vocabulary being unfamiliar, I could understand only a few ubiquitous phrase types, such as the dates ( 千九百四十二年４月 ). I did notice a ている form (6:08, 分かっていません ) and that the counter word for ships is せき (6:23, アメリカきどうぶたい [strike force] はエンタープライズ、ホーネット、ヨークタウンのくうぼ [aircraft carrier] 三せき ...).
